Today saw the launch of Alumina at Channel 4, London. Developed by selfharm.co.uk Alumina is the UK's first online, self-referral recovery programme for young people struggling with self-harm. Alumina is a six week programme for 14–18 year olds designed to take young people through the journey of exploring how and why their harming began and supports them as they start to look towards a future without self-harm.
Although still in its infancy, Alumina has already made a huge positive impact in helping young people with their first steps towards recovery.
Working closely with the Alumina team headed by Rachel Welsh and Shaun Parker, Good+Brave designed the identity, physical workbook and worked in collaboration with Existence to develop the online resource for Alumina. It's been a privilege to work with the Alumina team whose dedication, knowledge and immense hard graft have created something that will help change lives.
